Dr. Suen’s Real Strengths!
With over 27 years of experience in general dentistry, Dr. Suen’s strengths are not just doing Invisalign, surgical placement of various types of implants, braces, wisdom teeth removal, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, gum surgery, TMJ/migraine headache therapy, etc. He takes pride in his diverse knowledge of the different branches in dentistry. Combined with honesty and integrity, his goal is to offer his patients with as many possible personalized treatment options. Dr. Suen believes it is of great importance to allow his patients to understand every pro and con of all treatment options. With an increased knowledge of possible procedures, patients are able to choose the treatment they desire accompanied with professional dental guidance.
To Dr. Suen, dentistry is not simply about treating teeth. It is about treating the person attached to the tooth. That’s why Dr. Suen’s main priority is to provide a pleasant environment along with gentle care to all his patients.
Not only does it take unique skills to become a dentist, getting into dental school also requires a set of special talents. In contrast to pre-med, pre-pharmaceutical, and pre-nursing candidates, all pre-dental candidates must be tested on their perceptual abilities to assess how well they will excel in dentistry. The Perceptual Motor Aptitude Test (PMAT) is designed to measure a person’s ability to perceive and think in both 2D and 3D space. This is highly important because perceptual thinking is a vital asset in performing top-quality dental procedures, but this innate analytical skill cannot be taught. Dr. Suen scored in the 98th percentile on the 2D test and in the 99th percentile on the 3D test, all reflected in the success of some of his toughest dental cases. Since Dr. Suen is confident in his work, over seventy before and after video testimonies of diverse surgeries, orthodontics, and other procedures will be provided for your viewing pleasure.
